The construction of Dublin Airport Terminal 2 started in 2007. The cost of the overall project is put at €609 million which includes the terminal building itself, the new pier, road work and ancillary facilities.
The new terminal should have 58 check-in desks and will be capable of handling 15 million passengers a year. If the opening is not delayed, the first passengers to use it should be able do so by April 2010.
